Cryptoseismology is the third full-length album from Almanac Mountain, the NH based composer and multi-instrumentalist Christopher Cote's ongoing avant-pop/psychedelic music project. Previous themes, centered around a meditative human connection to the natural world, give way to the more critical voice of a generation disillusioned by the misuse and exploitation of the economic, informational and technological hopes of the 1980s. Cryptoseismology was composed and recorded between January 2015 and April 2016, and features guest performances by electric guitarists Russ Harland, and Honky Gabacho's Andy Klosenski. It was mastered by Brian James.
